Welcome to Staffia

A London-based education recruitment agency, specialising in connecting passionate educators with schools. Not just any school! We believe in the right fit — the one that feels right and works right. Because we believe everyone deserves to find their shine.

A fresh approach to education recruitment

We’re not just another agency. Staffia was born from lived experience inside real London schools. Our founder worked directly with schools and recruitment agencies and saw the gaps — the disconnect between what schools truly needed and what agencies delivered.

That’s why we built Staffia to be different:
Human-first.
Quality-focused.
Honest, responsive, and transparent.
Always looking for the right fit, not just any fill.

Why Schools Trust Us

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll need a teaching qualification like PGCE or QTS, or a recognised overseas equivalent. You may also need to register with the General Teaching Council. You can also apply to be a teaching assistant or cover supervisor.

A DBS check is a UK background check required to work with children or vulnerable adults. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS that includes children's barred list registered with the DBS Update Service

It’s a good idea to wear smart clothes, like a shirt with trousers or a skirt, or a suit. Your shoes should also look neat. Try to look professional and tidy. If you can, check the school’s dress code before you go.

We need two references before you start work.

If you’ve been at the same school for 2+ years: You can get two references from different people there.
Not ready to share referees? Just let us know – you can register without submitting them right away.
No school references? We can use references from any job in the last 2 years.
Only have agency references? That’s fine – we can contact the agency.
Worked overseas? Send your CV and we’ll help figure out who can be a referee.

Recruitment agencies can save you time and effort in the job search process. They have access to job opportunities, provide guidance on resumes and interviews, and match your skills and preferences with suitable job openings.
